Irish tennis revisited

TENNIS: On Friday 25 April Wharton's Neil Tunnicliffe returned to Dublin to continue the modernisation work that he has been leading with Tennis Ireland's Board of Directors since January 2006. This has seen the complete reconstruction of TI's governance structure, the repositioning of its Council, and the creation of a new Board of Directors which now combines expertise-based and representative appointments. Neil has continued to work with this Board since it came to office in September 2007, to assist it in shaping TI's strategy and establishing systems for monitoring delivery and exercising good governance.

TI's Chief Executive Des Allen said of this work: "TI has benefited greatly from the experience and expertise of Wharton Consulting in the development of our governance and management. Through a series of well-structured and stimulating workshops, the provision of carefully crafted and user-friendly documentation, and ongoing coaching and advice, we have made tremendous progress as an organisation over the past two years.”
